This was a bit of piano that a childhood friend named Grant Young taught me to play a long, long time ago. I knew I wanted the closing track to be called "Haiku," and this seemed a good way to do it. Grant was killed our freshman year in college, so this is also a tribute. The abrupt ending was done à la "I Want You (She's So Heavy)" by the Beatles, where you'd swear someone unplugged your player.
